My whole family loves bananas for some reason. We eat banana everything, and it's our first go to flavor. My grandma started this, making banana cakes, banana smoothies, putting bananas on our waffles or in our pancakes. Really, everything. She even had a few banana trees in her backyard when we were growing up, until her pet potbelly pig ate a bad one and ended up passing away. Super weird stuff, I know. BUT, nonetheless we love and still love bananas in my family.
A few years ago my mom started making banana pudding, and it was such a huge hit in our family that she now has to make it for literally EVERY family event, no matter what it is. She literally will get calls from family members days before, just to make sure that she was bringing the banana pudding. The funny thing is, it's like such a basic recipe that I'm pretty sure she found online, and now she's the queen of banana pudding, at least according to my family.

RECIPE
P.S. Make sure your bowl is big, you'll thank me later.
Some pro tips--
1. You should buy an extra tub of cool whip, not for the banana pudding, just for you.
2. Make sure the bananas aren't super ripe, it'll make the pudding really unappealing if they're too squishy. Plus it throws off the taste.
3. Use a high quality mixer to make sure you get the best consistency and fluffiness, it'll be worth it, I promise.
4. This is the most important tip, do not underestimate how much you will eat. Make two batches, I promise that this will also be very worth your time.
